Apply First Aid (previously known as Senior First Aid)

Apply First Aid (previously known as Senior First Aid)

Previously known as "Senior First Aid", this also includes Refresher Courses. 

Duration: 7 hours (9am - 4.30pm)

CPR and PBELS courses can also be done within an Apply First Aid (Senior First Aid) time slot. CPR and PBELS participants will need to arrive for a 9am start.

'FAST AID';  a blended approach to training.  Fast Aid' recognises your current competence allowing you to focus on gaining and maintaining practical skills fast, without having to attend a 1 or 2 day course.  

Blended Approach

1. After receiving your username and password, log in to the Online Learning Dashboard at www.stselearning.com

2. Choose what you want to learn and when (or if) you are confident of your current first aid skills, go to the theory assessment.

3. Once you have achieved 100% competence online you attend a 2 hour practical skills workshop (Apply-First-Aid E-Learning Assessment Workshops)

4. This workshop allows you to focus on refining life saving practical skills and review relevant theory

 

People with a valid CITB ID number may be eligible for fully-funded Apply First Aid, PBELS and CPR training (funded by the Construction Industry Training Board).

 

Participants requiring a wallet card showing their first aid certificate qualification, can order a card on the day of attendance.  Cards are $10.00 (incl GST)
