This course will provide the participant with skills and knowledge in basic emergency life suport for a range of illness and injuries.

Legal Issues in First Aid
First Aid Hygiene
SRABC
The Unconscious Casualty
Examination of Casualty
Airway Management
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Breathing emergencies, including asthma & choking
Shock
Severe allergic reaction
Bleeding & wound care
Infection control
First Aid documentation
