Course Aims:
This course is ideal for participants requiring knowledge and skills in the use of oxygen resuscitators and supplementary oxygen delivery in advanced first aid management. The course covers the use of oxygen in cardiac arrest situations.
Prerequisites:
HLTFA301C Apply First Aid or
HLTCPR201A Perform CPR or
HLTFA201A Provide emergency life support

Use of bag and mask resuscitation technique
Use of AED
Hypoxia
Oxygen Safety
Oxygen Devices
Administration of Oxygen
Oral Airway Insertion
Use of Suction Devices
