Here is what people say about their experience with State Training Services and courses they have undertaken:

Brilliant!

State Training Services first aid course was fantastic, I leaned more today than I did in 15 years of first aid training. Wendy the educator was brilliant! I didn’t think you could have so much fun in a course and learn so much. I will recommend you to all my work colleges.

It's really that simple...

Hi Guys, thank you for making the course simple it was great. Previously I have attended boring courses in first aid where they spend 4 hours on bandages and make it all sound real hard, your simple fun approach is a great teaching method, I had fun and learned that first aid is simple and anyone can do it.

Helped me save a life...

In February 2008 I attended a one day Senior First Aid course with State Training Services. I really enjoyed the day and of course was able to brush up on my skills on CPR what I learnt previously 3 years before. Little did I know how soon I would need to use these skills.

Only 3 days later at a shopping centre I noticed a lady collapsed on the ground. There where shopping centre staff and other members of the public attending to her, so I did not offer any assistance to start with. I went back past about one minute later and noticed that nothing had changed; no one was doing anything so I offered to help. It was obvious that the lady was in cardiac arrest, so I started immediate CPR, ten minutes later an ambulance crew arrived and took over. I really appreciate the training that I received at State Training Services and being well equipped with the knowledge to help save a life. Thanks guys!

The best thing I've done...

If it was not for the relaxed and fun training by State Training Services first aid educators my mum might not have survived. I get nervous when attending any form of training, I don’t like speaking or getting up in front of people, but they made me fell so relaxed this helped me to get over my nerves. Only a month or so after the training day we were having dinner at my mum’s friends home when she began to choke on a piece of meat. I instantly remembered the training and what Mark said, the meat flew out and mum was OK. This is the best thing I have ever done, even if you are worried about attending first aid courses, do one with State Training Services, they will make you feel at home.
